Plentywood Electric is a local retailer that offers appliances from popular brands such as General Electric, Maytag, Danby, Hotpoint, Crosley, Whirlpool, Amana, KitchenAid, and Speed Queen. In addition, they also provide water softeners, RO systems, water heaters, and televisions. Recently, LG laundry and dishwashers have been added to their product line-up.

In 1939, Jens and Mary Nikolaisen, along with Merl and Ruth Midby, founded Plentywood Electric to provide high-quality services to their local community. Since then, the business has been passed down to Robert (Bob) Nikolaisen, who has continued to uphold the same level of service that the company was founded on.

Bob is a huge supporter of the community. He firmly believes that by supporting the youth in the community, he is investing in his future business prospects. Whenever children approach him to sell products or to request donations, Bob welcomes them with open arms, recognizing that they are the future customers who will one day support his business. Bob's commitment to the community and his belief in investing in the youth is admirable.

With over 80 years of experience, Plentywood Electric has become a trusted name. It is committed to after-sale servicing, ensuring that its customers are satisfied with the work done and any issues are promptly addressed.

The two photos below were taken during the 1959 parade in Plentywood, Montana. The delivery truck featured in the images is a 1931 Model A Ford, and this was the last time it was driven until it was purchased by Jerry Phelps who completely restored it.
